VALUES - SDAP Ethics, Morals & Human Principles

Separation of Church and State
Currently, the two parties in Saskatchewan's Legislature are taking political donations from Churches. The principle of Separation of Church and State is based on avoiding the abuse of religious bodies by those seeking political power.

  • The SaskParty is taking political donations from the Menonite Church. Many leaders of the Menonite Church spend more time telling people about Brad Wall than they do about God. The Menonite Church has been abused by the SaskParty's failure to observe the Separation of Church and State.
  • The NDP take political donations from the United Church and have politicized leaders of the United Church for the sole purpose gaining political power.

The Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party receives regular negative comments about the NDP & SaskParty failure to observe separation of Church and State specifially related to the interference and the attempts by the SaskParty & NDP to set themselves up above the head of the Church in local congregations.

Representing Saskatchewan Citizens
The Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party supports the Saskatchewan Way-Of-Life. The SDAP tolerates neither undemocratic nor unequal treatment of any Saskatchewan citizen. All Saskatchewan citizens are equal and the SDAP works together with and on behalf of those citizens to promote, preserve, and improve our way-of-life.
