The last Brad Wall government Bankrupted Saskatchewan in the 1980's and 1990's. Likewise, the NDP harm Saskatchewan and create massive debt for future generations.
In 2008 the SaskParty broke their 2007 Campaign promise and refused to implement the Rural-Education-Tax-Cuts they promised. The SaskParty still hasn't implemented the tax cuts as of August 2011 and there is no indication they have any intention of keeping any of their promises.
Brad Wall tried to blame others for the blunder but the media revealed it was in fact the SaskParty that had made serious economic mistakes with Saskatchewan's Economy. This story was first revealed in the media and then at the 2010 SUMA conference (Sask Urban Municipalities Association). The SaskParty admission proved decisively that SaskParty economic models are severely flawed. It's clear that SaskParty budgets do not work. It is clear that the Brad Wall/SaskParty members of 2007-2011 have learned nothing since they bankrupted Saskatchewan in the 1980s-90s .
SASKPARTY PROMISE MADE - SASKPARTY PROMISE BROKEN
The SaskParty's monolithic $2 Billion Dollar boondoggle counting Potash revenue chickens before they had hatched demonstrated there is something wrong with SaskParty economic numbers. Following the SaskParty $2 billion dollar boondoggle, the SaskParty increased immigration to 15,000 immigrants per year to try and cover up the bad numbers. The SaskParty has threatened to bring in 20,000 immigrants if re-elected in November 2011.
The broken SaskParty promises & economic debt creation are the same precursors Saskatchewan voters saw leading up to provincial bankruptcy of 1993-4 when Brad Wall was last in control of Saskatchewan's Government. It's clear Saskatchewan voters can't trust the SaskParty and that it was a mistake to let the SaskParty elite get their hands back on Saskatchewan's Economic Levers.
Today, the SaskParty & NDP legislative committees are increasingly spending out of control. Tax-payers are being asked to foot the bill for the bad NDP/SaskParty governance. Giving away massive chunks of Saskatchewan Infrastructure irresponsibly to foreign business for nothing in return is increasingly the SaskParty/NDP solution. The NDP & SaskParty see this as the way to cover up the huge debts they create through bad government and mismanagement of Saskatchewan's Economy. Here are few examples of comments many Saskatchewan Citizens are making:
The SaskParty, Wall, and the NDP are spending $Millions$ complaining about Saskatchewan citizens being lazy and not doing the work in Saskatchewan. The SaskParty and NDP use the "lazy" argument to justify bringing in 10,000 immigrant's per year to take Saskatchewan jobs for cheaper wages when in reality there are more than enough Saskatchewan people to do the work here. If the SaskParty & NDP would quit breaking their promises and quit driving our children out of the province, Saskatchewan would grow normally.
The SaskParty is bringing in cheap third-world foreign labour that is causing more expensive local Saskatchewan labour to be laid off or fired. Many are also saying this immigration excess is taking emerging opportunities from impoverished groups in Saskatchewan and that the timing just isn't right for a huge immigration program since resources like healthcare and education are scarce;
The SaskParty is engaging in unrealistic multi-$Billion$Mega-Projects that will cost Saskatchewan TaxPayers Billions and create huge debt;
The NDP are hypocrits... [the NDP] are manipulating Union workers to 'Say No to Bill 80' to keep out maybe a thousand or so non-Saskatchewan workers from other provinces but then [the NDP] support and recruit tens of thousands of foreign workers every year to take our jobs for half the wage... the NDP are hypocrits and liars.
The SaskParty and Wall spend more time trying to please the United States and its government than taking care of Saskatchewan. Not surprising since Brad Wall's home state is Arizona.
ALREADY, almost all key 2007 election promises have been broken by the SaskParty. Creative accounting and an out of control immigration program will ensure the debt the SaskParty and NDP are creating remains hidden while the two Political Parties occupy Saskatchewan's Legislature. Support the
