Rural-Farm & Agriculture Reform

Observe what the SaskParty and NDP governments have brought for farmers and rural communities and decide for yourself:
Roads: Leading up to the 2007 Saskatchewan General Election, the SaskParty complained openly about rural roads. Despite SaskParty claims they would spend $5 Billion dollars on roads, they have done almost nothing to improve Saskatchewan roads. A few very visible projects at well traveled intersections do not constitute improving Saskatchewan's rural road infrastructure.
Education Taxes: Rural citizens and farmers voice their concern that the SaskParty has has just shifted the Education Tax burden to other taxes. Fuel taxes and the resultant increases in personal income tax that come with paying less education tax are just a few examples of tax increases offsetting education tax reductions. Whether you pay one level of government or another, through one type of tax or another, in the end you haven't saved anything under a SaskParty government.
Snake Oil: The SaskParty utilized a Saskatchewan Rural Municipalities Association to put out the message about a proposed SaskParty government loan program that resulted in small communities taking on huge loans to sell Lot Parcels to imaginary buyers and upgrade service (something the province should be doing anyway). The result is communities that are now even further in debt to the government and banks while only a few favoured communities have actually benefited. And don't blame the Rural Municipalities Association members... most were duped by a few executives who cleverly and artfully manipulated them into promoting this SaskParty Debt Hog.
Yet More Snake Oil: The SaskParty/NDP assisted sell off of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and mutation into Vitera is a Saskatchewan economic disaster. Saskatchewan Farmers no longer own or control a critical aspect of their production and marketing. Now agriculture producers are at the whim of New York Stock Brokers whose interests do not represent Saskatchewan Farmers well being or prosperity. Vitera, is almost wholly owned by United States and non-Saskatchewan citizens.
Debt & Bankruptcy: The SaskParty has relaxed the property seizure laws in subtle ways to allow for easier seizure of family farms and rural property by municipalities and banks. This activity is nothing short of unethical and lacks any quality of government leadership. If you want protection from the SaskParty/NDP policies and banks/municipalities, then you will find the
There are many other examples of broken SaskParty and NDP promises. The above few demonstrate but a few areas where
