Putting An End To Corruption in Government

WHETHER IT'S THE growing record of broken promises, fraud, or lies of the NDP & Brad Wall's party, the message is clear: The NDP & Brad Wall aren't accountable & can't be trusted. Their public statements prove they feel they are above the law and their actions demonstrate no concern for principles of accountability to their communities and fellow citizens. They say one thing but do just the opposite.

During the recent "Saskatchewan-Fraud & Bankruptcy Scandal," nearly 20 members of the NDP & Brad Wall's parties were convicted of Fraud & Public Breach of Trust. Knowing this, supporting the Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party is both ethical & makes more sense than ever; it shows the world Saskatchewan will not tolerate fraud and corruption on the part of its elected officials.

Much of the corruption found in these parties results from undemocratic candidate selection processes. The NDP & SaskParty do not allow free citizen involvement in their nominating processes. Small special interest groups in these parties interfere with candidate selection and even deny you the right to vote for candidates you may favor over their picks. In the end, you can see this corruption in the media when these parties' corrupt politicians & party workers are brought to justice.

Good Government and Responsible Representation
In the Saskatchewan Democratic Action Party, we believe that good government starts with selection of accountable representatives.

The SDAP ensures that anyone can become involved and we strive to guarantee full and free participation during all aspects of nominations. True democratic representation begins with one-citizen-with-one-vote, secure from interference or coercion. Future leaders should come from all walks of life regardless of wealth or other status.

Community participation during the selection of candidates keeps special interest groups and self-promoting individuals from setting up the conditions that damage democracy and lead to corruption of elected officials. Full and free participation also ensures SDAP candidates who win their Nomination Primaries are fully Accountable & Responsible to their fellow citizens and fully empowered with their community's clear mandate.
